Our Sustainability

Kinder materials. Thoughtful makers. Toys that last.

We choose materials and partners with care so play can be joyful today and responsible for tomorrow.

Materials That Matter

  • Responsibly sourced wood with durable, long-lasting builds.
  • Non-toxic finishes selected with children in mind.
  • Minimal plastics and a preference for natural fibres where practical.

We continually review suppliers and specifications as our range evolves.

Packaging With Purpose

  • Right-sized packaging to reduce waste and shipping impact.
  • Recyclable materials and paper fillers where possible.
  • Simple designs that look good without excess ink or coatings.

Built to Be Loved (and Passed On)

Durability is sustainability. We look for designs that stand up to play and can be repaired, shared, or handed down — not thrown away.

  • Preference for solid wood structures and robust joints.
  • Replaceable parts where offered by the maker.
  • Timeless aesthetics that grow with your child.

Sustainability FAQs

Do you use certified wood?

Where our makers provide certification (e.g., responsibly sourced wood), we include it on the product page. We’re expanding this across our range as we evolve.

Are your paints fully non-toxic?

Products are selected with child-safe finishes in mind and must meet applicable toy safety requirements. If a product has a specific compliance note, we’ll list it on its page.

How can I dispose of packaging responsibly?

Most of our packaging can go into household recycling. Remove any tape or labels if required by your local service.
